Dave is a born and raised Albertan. He received both his BFA (2007) and MFA (2011) in Drama from the University of Calgary.

He worked professionally in Calgary for many years, both as a freelance designer, as well as a technician (Dave spent 3 years working as the Technical Director, then Production Manager at Lunchbox Theatre.)

Dave is an instructor of design at the University of Lethbridge. His teaching mostly focuses on scenic design and painting, while his professional work is mostly lighting design.
